Just finished watching the Peyton Manning news conference, and man was it tough to watch. I really don't like Manning going and playing for another team. It doesn't seem right. Like when Montana went and played for the Chiefs. Is it the right choice? Yea, it probably is. The Colts even with Manning weren't going to be Super Bowl contenders. It was time to rebuild. Doesn't make it any easier though.
It makes you really think about Brady, and the day when this eventually happens. Not him playing for another (hopefully), but he can't play forever. My hope is that when it happens that Belichick leaves too and everything changes, because I feel like it's easier to just do it all at once.
I have loved my time rooting against Manning as a Patriots fan. It's actually odd. I grew up hating him, then I grew respect, then I actually started to like him. Takes a lot to do that, so hats off to him.
