Last year the Bruins knocked the Lightning out of the playoffs. Tonight they have a chance to basically kill this team's slim playoff hopes. If the last two times these two teams have played is any indication this won't be easy.
The Lightning have outscored the Bruins 11-4 the last two teams they have played. That's damn ugly. I except Thomas to play better in this game, so that's one step. The other is that Peverley is back, and the Bruins offense seems to be playing better. The big surprise is Rolston who The veteran has three goals and eight assists during a six-game scoring streak, giving him 12 points in 15 games with the Bruins (he had 9 in 49 contests with the New York Islanders). Mark Recchi anyone?
The good news for the Bruins is the Lightning haven't beat the Bruins in Boston since March 25, 2010. I expect the Bruins to come out strong, and win this home game.
Bruins win 6-3
Player of the Game: Peverley
Game starts at 7:30pm
