So during yesterday's Sox/ Marlins game Ozzie Guillen got thrown out for arguing balls and strikes and apparently he took exception to our manager Bobby Valentine.
As Guillen exited the field through the tunnel next to the Red Sox dugout, Valentine waved. Asked if he said anything to his Miami counterpart, Valentine recalled saying, "See ya."
Guillen did not see or hear Valentine's remarks, but asked how he would have reacted, Guillen made his feelings clear.
"I don't see it. I would have told him to go and [expletive] himself, too," said Guillen, with a laugh. "That's the way Ozzie Guillen is."
I'm going to stand by Bobby Valentine as our manager, however, if there was ever an opportunity to get Ozzie Guillen I would do that in a second. Bobby valentine tries to hard to be edgy and crazy, where Ozzie Guillen is actually crazy.
Guillen may be my favorite manager of all time. My favorite story of his is when he sent his RP down to the minors after he didn't peg one of the opposing teams batters in response to one of their guys getting hit.
I have no problem with any of this and just a case of Ozzie being Ozzie.
