Broncos Should Grab Mike Wallace

As we all know the Broncos won the Peyton Manning lottery, now it is time to put a team around him. There were a lot of Free agent WRs, but that went away quick (and for a ton of cash), so the Broncos are going to have to deal with what is left.

To start the Broncos have Thomas and Decker, which isn't all that bad of a start. If they can go out and sign Dallas Clark that would be a nice addition and can probably get done for cheap, but if they want to really make this offense scary giving up a 1st round pick and locking up Mike Wallace would be a great move. He gives them explosiveness and when you add that to Thomas/Decker/Clark that seems like good enough weapons for Manning to make this a top NFL offense.

After that if they could go out and maybe just secure their running game a with a guy like Ryan Grant, Brandon Jacobs, or Joseph Addai just in case McGahee can't stay healthy.

If the Broncos can't get Wallace, then there are still a couple more free agent WRs that make sense. Jerome Simpson is a really interesting player, and maybe a guy that Manning can help find his full potential, and you could always roll the dice with a player like Braylon Edwards.

With an already pretty good offensive line (especially when they add Saturday, which has been heavily rumored) the Broncos could be pretty good, as long as Manning stays healthy.
