Paul Pierce probably had his best game of the season. He finished the night with 36 points, 10-20 FG, 15-18 FT, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 blocks, he was aggressive all night and got to the line, 18 times. KG also chipped in with 24 points and a little shove to Byron Mullins, who may be the ugliest human on earth. Rajon Rondo had 7 points, 13 assists, 6 rebounds and was a game high +21.
For some reason, we could not stop the Bobcats bench. They scored 59 points in comparison to the Celtics bench who only contributed 9 points.
As for the game itself, it was your token back to back away game. It was full of run. I thought the game was going to be over after the 1st quarter when we built a 18 point lead. Then it disappeared to a 2 point lead going into the half. Then the Celtics made it a 13 point game mid way through the 4th, and were able to hold off surging Bobcats at the end.
It's good to see the Celtics tied for the 1st in the Atlantic.
