The Bucks are looking for their 7th with in a row, which is one of their longest streaks in the last decade. The Celtics have beat them 4 times though, so this should be a very interesting matchup tonight.
What is going to be difficult for the Celtics is shutting down Ellis. Rondo has proved in the past he has little trouble with Jennings, but Ellis has killed the Celtics. He has averaged 27.4 points in his last five games versus Boston, had 41 points in his previous matchup last March in Boston. Lets be honest, Ray Allen isn't going to be able to stay with him.
The Celtics meanwhile have split their last 8 games, and are 3-3 on their season high 8 game road trip. I am actually fine with that, because they are a much better home team (16-8) then away (8-13). A win tonight would mean they would come out of this dreaded road trip no worse than .500. I'll take that any day.
The Celtics are three games ahead of the Bucks, and just one game back of the 76ers. We all know how important it could be for the Celtics to win the division, so all these games really matter now. It would be huge for the Celtics to be able to play the first round at home (look at those records again).
Look for KG to tear this team apart. He had 25 points and 10 rebounds last time these two teams played. It's weird to say, but Boston has the better big men in this game, and I think that will be the key for this win tonight.
