Although I think Cuse should be ruled ineligible for post season play this season, I guess losing Fab Melo will have to do. Fab Melo was ruled academically ineligible.
Losing their Center will certainly hurt their chances on winning this tournament and probably even getting out of the East Region. Melo averaged 7.8 points and 5.8 rebounds and had 88 blocks this season for Syracuse. They can probably overcome Fab's offense, but his defense is what will really be missed. This only puts a ton of pressure on Baye Keita and Rakeem Christmas to step up their efforts on that end of the court.
Either way I have Cuse losing to Vandy anyways, so fuck em.
