Everyone welcome to the Avery Bradley coming out party. Avery had to start because Ray Allen was hurt and Mikeal Pietrus suffered that scary injury against Philly, but will be O.K. eventually.
The Celtics came out on fire. Avery Bradley had 15 points in the 1st half and j23 for the game. He was just great, this is the guy that the Celtics drafted out of Texas, this is the guy that was ranked above John Wall as a prospect going into school. Paul Pierce added 21 points and eight rebounds, Rajon Rondo had 11 assists, and Kevin Garnett finished with 10 points and six assists for the Celtics, who shot 22 for 34 (65 percent) in the first half.
With the win and a loss by Philadelphia at San Antonio on Sunday, the Celtics moved within a half-game of the division lead.
Good win. Tonight is at Charlotte.
