100 Celtics, 91 Bucks

On whatever Village in Wisconsin Greg Stiemsma was born in they proclaimed March 22, be Greg Stiemsma Day, the Celtics had a great night. This was a hard fought game and the Celtics defense ultimately swallowed the Bucks alive.

Everyone minus Ray had an awesome day, The Captain Paul Pierce had 25 off of 10-15 shooting. Kevin Garnett (16 points, 10 rebounds), Brandon Bass (12 points, 10 Rebounds) and Rajon Rondo (10 points, 14 assists, 3 steals) all had double doubles. And our bench played really well also with Pietrus scoring 13, Keyon Dooling first good game with 8 on 4-4 shooting and the Steamer played great D and played a complete game with 6 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and 5 blocks.

The Celtics in the first half got pushed into the Bucks game and made it a track meet game (which favors the Bucks 10 out of 10 times) and then after half time they really put the clamps on. They switched on pick and rolls and to be honest I didn't even notice Monta Ellis (13 points 6-18 shooting) out there. I don't think the dynamic between he and Brandon Jennings (19 points 6-14 shooting) will work out. Brandon Jennings especially in the 4th quarter made it known that this is his team and shot (and missed) every time the Bucks had the ball.

The Celtics are now a game away from first place and will have a chance to snatch it tonight against the Sixers, for that crucial 4th seed.
