Why No Team Takes Mike Wallace

We have been wondering why no team has given up it's first round pick to the Steelers for Mike Wallace. It seems like a logical move, especially if you are late in the first round. Well, I think we might have an answer for that.

A league source has revealed that Wallace wants a contract that goes above the one Larry Fitzgerald most recently received: an eight-year, $120 million pact signed with the Arizona Cardinals last season.

If that is the case it makes a lot of sense why he hasn't been grabbed. He isn't worth anywhere near that. He is very very good, but he isn't in the Fitzgerald/Calvin class. I can't fault him after seeing the crazy money being thrown at WRs this offseason, but giving up at 1st round pick AND then having to sign him to a crazy deal isn't worth it for anyone.
