You have to give it to the Warriors, without Monta Ellis and Without Stephen Curry, they played some hard inspired basketball. They were actually led by our old friend Nate Robinson and they eventually lost because Nate Robinson couldn't resist hero ball with the time winding down and heaving up an off balance 3 instead of a smart shot.
But I have to tip my hat to Nate who had 20 points and 11 assists, he played great.
In what COULD be their last game together Pierce had 15 points on a bad shooting night (5-17) but had 6 assists, Ray Allen had 7 points and 4 steals and had one of the oddest turnovers I have ever seen when he tried to go 1 on 2 instead of giving it to Rondo on the break, he also played awful defense on rookie Klay Thompson who had 26 points. Rajon didn't have the best game defensively (although I can argue the reason for Nate's big game was more due to him having to roam and cover Pierce's and Allens men) but had 8 points, 6 rebounds an 14 assists, but Kevin Garnett was the MAN last night, he was 11-15 from the field for 24 points and 7 boards. he also hit the game leading shot with 5 seconds left on the clock.
I really hope this isn't the last time I see these guys play together, but if so, it was a pleasure.
P.S.
This is the best pass I have ever seen in my life
