So I woke up early this morning and was excited because I really wanted to watch the A's/ Mariners game. Not that I support these teams, but because it's baseball season. One of my favorite pitchers in baseball is Felix Hernandez, I really like Ichiro and Dustin Ackley, I was interested to see how newly acquired Jesus Montero played as well as Cuban Yoenis Cespedes for the A's. But the MLB dropped the ball big time. It's not on TV and I couldn't find it anywhere streaming online. How could they possibly do this? I'm not going to spend 150 dollars for MLBTV (even though I had to talk myself out of it this morning) and I'm not going to listened to a tape delayed audio version. So I had to sit there like a schmuk and watch it on gamecenter on CBS..... gay.
I of course blame this on that money grubbing d bag Bud Selig. I don't know if he actually has any involvement in this or it's the networks doing, but he shouldn't let this happen. I don't care what team is playing, opening day is cool and if he is trying to make it an international event he needs to let US viewers see what our game looks like in Japan.
I'm really pissed about this.
