Only In Baseball Could A Player Get Hurt This Way

"Rays pitcher David Price injured himself during Thursday's spring training game against the Tigers while using a towel to wipe sweat off his neck. Price said he "felt a little pop," and left the game after two innings (he was scheduled to pitch three) with minor neck spasms (WEEI)."

Is it me or is it always baseball players that get hurt in the silliest ways. Anyone remember Zumaya destroying his arm while playing Guitar Hero, or Red Sox propsect Paxton Crawford who a day after pitching a 7 inning no-hitter rolled off a hotel bed in Ottawa and landed on a glass that he had left on the floor, which tore open his shoulder. He never played for the Red Sox again.

This injury obviously anything major, but I did love Joe Maddon's comments about the situation, as he suggested Price be assigned someone to be a designated towel-wiper for future games.
