102 Celtics, 96 Bucks

Maybe the Celtics should keep saying that they are going to trade Rajon, because he rose above the trade chatter to fill the charts and get a triple double. It's funny, there have been 8 triple doubles all season and Rondo has 3 of them (16 for his career). The Bucks made a late 13-0 run at the end of the game to bring it to a 2 point game, but fortunately the Celtics were able to hit their free throws and seal the second game in a row and the 1st of a 4 game home stand.

Yes, this game shouldn't have been so close, but it still was a great win for the Celtics who are back to .500. For the exception of Paul Pierce, everyone played pretty great. Rondo of course got the triple double, but KG had an outstanding game going all vintage and throwing down 25 points and 10 rebounds. The best thing about his game, were that the shots he took were somewhat close to the basket and he constantly attacked the basket all game.

A big praise has to go to our rebounding especially on the offensive end. I haven't seen the Celtics rebound this well in..... well forever. They out rebounded the Bucks 52 to 33 and had 18 offensive rebounds. Chris Wilcox and Brandon Bass did a great job on the boards 10 offensive boards themselves.

Speaking of Chris Wilcox, he may not be my favorite player, but he did an excellent job of not giving up on plays. He had a team high 13 rebounds and 7 points.

Rondo also held Brandon Jennings to 6 points.

Good win and next game up is against the Nets on Friday.
