Zach Randolph Close To Return

Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph is participating in a full-contact scrimmage Monday, which is a "good sign that his return could be this week." Randolph has been out since Jan. 2 with a torn MCL.

This is great news for the Grizzlies, as when he first went out there were a lot of people that didn't think he was going to be able to make it back this year. Memphis has done a pretty damn good job this year with out him going 22-12 so far, good enough for 5th place in the West. They are only 3 games behind the Spurs for 2nd place in the West, so if Randolph can be the player he was last year it is not out of the realm of possibility to see them jump up the standings.

This team was really dangerous last year, and that was without Rudy Gay. If everyone can stay healthy for the Griz they could be a surprise team again in the playoffs, which is funny because once again no one seem to be talking about them.
