Jermaine O'Neal currently has a left wrist injury and it's been reported he has three options: A cortisone shot, minor surgery or season-ending surgery. If he has season ending surgery the Celtics will cut him and sign some center off the street. My guess is that he gets the shot, as this is most likely his last year playing and he might as well try the best he can to play, unless the Celtics fall out of the playoffs.
We were hearing that the Timberwolves want to trade Beasley for him, I have no idea why, but the Celtics would be insane not to do it. My guess is that rumor is just made up by the media, and the Celtics are just going to have to deal with what they have on the roster.
I really hate Jermaine O'Neal, and don't really care if he comes back or not. I know we need a big, but I am just sick of him.
