Dolphins Might Make Most Sense For Peyton Manning

There have been crazy rumors all over the place about where Manning could end up. Here is my list of priorities (in my opinion) for Manning in no specific order...

- Contender
- Good weather/dome
- AFC
- Control of offense
- Offensive weapons
- Protection

My personal belief was that Houston is the best best place for him to go. They are already a Super Bowl contender, and obviously they have a ton of talent. Yet, I have heard no real rumors of him going there, other then analysts saying it could be a good idea.

Right now, the one team that really sounds like the most likely is the Miami Dolphins. They have an opening for Peyton's boy Reggie Wayne. You add that to Brandon Marshall and Reggie Bush and that could instantly be a hell of an offense. Other positives, Manning already owns a condo there, there is no state income tax so even if he makes a little less he isn't getting taxed. He would still be in the AFC, which he knows well. He wouldn't be stepping on Eli's turf in New York. They have a pretty good offensive line, and the weather is more than decent. Plus, Peyton and Joe Philbin could be a nice combo. Philbin did a hell of a job with the Packers offense and this offense could run very similar if they had Wayne, Marshall, Manning, ect.

If I had to guess right now Miami would be my early favorite. The best part of all of this is that Manning has said he wants to get this over with in the next week or so.

As a Patriots fan I really hope I am wrong, it would certainly make this division be a lot tougher to win.
