The Bruins went 29-7-2 from Nov. 1-Jan. 31, but in Feburary only went 5-7-1. It's a new month. Last game, as Rob said, the Bruins looked like they hadn't played together. Maybe that was the case, with the new bodies, and the players out with injury. Tonight they will see another new body as Zanon joins their defense.
The Bruins are 3-0 against the Devils this year, and it really hasn't been close. In those 3 games the Bruins have outscored the Devils 14-5. Good, because the Bruins need to score some damn goals. They have been getting shutout way too much.
More good news for the Bruins is that the Devils haven't been playing very well lately either losing their last 3 games. Devils' goalie Martin Brodeur has allowed nine goals in two losses vs Boston this season, dropping to 0-5-1 with a 3.31 goals-against average in his last 6 games against the Bruins. Meanwhile, Thomas has dominated the Devils of late, winning 6 consecutive games while posting a 1.17 GAA. He's also stopped 92 of 97 shots while starting all three matchups this year.
Bruins win 4-1
