It was an ongoing joke a couple years back that I couldn't beat Bob in the Tournament challenge and last year I finally put an end to it. This year was looking like Bob was going to go back to his dominant ways as he let the world know how good his bracket was through the 1st 3 rounds, however, he forgot that this is a whole tournament and where Michigan State and Ohio State choked, Kentucky and Kansas did not. Now I have a streak going between both of us that is 2 years in a row. The decade of dominance continues.
As for our challenge:
1 George Layer Kentucky
2 Jeff Lester Kentucky
3 adam case Kentucky
4 Kyle Holland Kentucky
5 Jacob Weisberg Kentucky
7 DP Kentucky
14 BMack Michigan State
It looks as if George Layer has this one in the bag.
69 Kentucky, 61 Louisville
The score was a lot closer than the game was as Player of the Year Anthony Davis finished the game with 18 points and 14 rebounds and 5 blocks. Darius Miller also chipped in with 13. You knew this game was going to shit as they for some reason wore orange uniforms and looked very close to Syracuse.
64 Kansas, 62 Ohio State
This was a tale of 2 halves for Kansas. They started off awful and were down double digits in the 1st half, and then were able to bounce back with great defense and an up tempo style in the second half. Thomas Robinson finished with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Elijah Johnson had 13 points and 10 boards. Ohio State had a slim glimmer of hope at the end but a lane violation squashed that dream.
