If it wasn't already awesome that Kentucky just won the National Championship, it's pretty awesome that a local boy is joining the number 1 recruiting class for the 3rd straight year and a championship winning coach in John Calipari.
Noel is a 6-11 center regarded as maybe the best shot blockers to come from the prep ranks in the last decade and will pick up right where Anthony Davis left off. Kentucky is likely to lose all 5 starters and glue guy Darius Miller. So most likely Calipari will do it again with a young team. Their starting rotation will probably be Ryan Harrow (an NC State transfer at PG), Archie Goodwin the 14th overall prospect, White boy Kyle Wiltjer at SF, number 8th ranked Alex Poythress at PF and Nerlens Noel at the Center.
It sucks SF Shabazz Muhammad got away to UCLA, but what can you do.
