This is a very intriguing game. It's a tale of 2 aging teams that have been playing better than everyone expected. On one side you have Pierce, Ray (he's back) and KG and on the other side Duncan, Parker and Ginobelli. The Celtics are 15 and 5 since the All Star break and the Spurs are 9-1 in the last 10.
The Key match up in this game will be actually be the non big 3s. So for the Spurs it will be Stephen Jackson, Pat Mills, Daniel Green and Gary Neal vs Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley, Brandon Bass, Steimer, Keyon Dooling. These teams a pretty close half court offensive set, however the Celtics will have a couple times to beat the Spurs with their transition game. If we see the Celtics play an up tempo game like they did against Miami, it would greatly help them out. So if Rondo, Bass and Bradley can run in front of the pack and make the Spurs uncomfortable on defense they should have a lot of looks.
I'll say that this will a tough game and the Spurs 3 point shooting scares the hell out of me, but the Celtics will pull this one out.
Celtics 97-92
