After thinking for a long time, and seeing how I have been extremely fortunate with my college teams, I'm done with the NFL until Roger Goodell isn't the commissioner. I'm not going to watch it, I'm not going to follow it, I'm not going to discuss the NFL until Dictator Goodell is gone.
I'm just defeated by him, he won. He just made the game not enjoyable to watch. He plays favorites, he fines or suspends my favorite players and teams for doing nothing. James Harrison can't sneeze without getting fined 25K, the Steelers can't make a block without having a rule against them, the Saints can't do what every other team and every defensive player in the NFL does without the Dictator dropping the hammer on them.
Sean Payton and Mickey Loomis are appealing their egregious suspensions/fines and I don't expect the Dictator to change his mind. In fact, Goodell will probably find another way to ruin their lives and smear their stellar reputations more. He will probably request Payton and Loomis' first born children. On one hand, I'm glad that this will annoy Goodell, on the other, you are playing with fire.
I also can't stand the fact a player can't celebrate and entertain during the games. I don't think they should be flagged for excessive celebration every time a runningback hands the ball to lineman to spike the ball after he scores a TD.
Roger Goodell is an evil human with the biggest ego of all time and his true colors have showed, especially this season. He's a hypocrite and cares more about flexing his muscles than caring about the product on the field or the player safety for sure.
It was fun NFL, go to hell Roger Goodell!
P.S.
I don't think it is, but it also wouldn't surprise me if it's racially charged as well.
