The Celtics had 2 very impressive wins over Indiana (currently a 3 seed) and Philly who has fallen from 3 to 8th and could be out of the playoffs. They 3-2 over last week in which they faced all playoff teams, the losses came to the Spurs by 1 point and the Bulls by 6, I'll take it (even though the Bulls loss really pissed me off).
They have a 3 game lead on the 4 spot and look to have that locked up. I think they even have a shot at the 3 which is held by Indiana by a 2.5 lead.
It looks like the roster and the rotations are set. Ray Allen is the 6th man (which seems more begrudgingly than volunteered as rumors have it) but so far it seems like a match. When/ If Pietrus comes back we will have a very strong bench in Keyon Dooling, Ray Allen, Mikael Pietrus and Stiemer.
Doc has been forced to push the minutes of our starters and ask a lot from them and they have responded. This Celtics team has a tough week ahead of them including Miami tonight, Atlanta, and then a back to back to back in Toronto, New Jersey and Charlotte.
I really do believe this team can win a Championship.
