Steelers To Cut Wallace?

The Pittsburgh Steelers are doing everything possible to get under the salary cap, but they remain several million over that number and still want to find a way to keep free-agent wide receiver Mike Wallace in the fold for 2012. Because their backs are against the wall with the salary cap, Ed Bouchette at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette believes the Steelers are willing to let Wallace test free agency.

Wow, I have to think they can find some other way to get under the salary cap, because if they let this guy hit the market someone is going to pay him. We have talked a couple times about how the Patriots could use a deep threat, well here is one of the best in the league, so Patriots fans should keep an eye on what happens here. Like I said I would be shocked if the Steelers let him walk, but if you listen to ESPN and some of these "insiders", it seems like a real possibility.
