Rajon Rondo will be joining Paul Pierce in the All Star game as he replaces Joe Johnson, who is injured in the line up.
I think he was a snub for the original voting and I believe people spend too much time criticizing him than realizing how good he really is. He is averaging his highest shooting percentages of his career in some stats, and higher than last year across the board. He also is averaging his highest point total as well. But people want to still bash him because he has an attitude and not a great free throw shooter.
The fact is that if you watched games this year, Rondo is having a great year, the team isn't. His whole game is built on attacking and passing out to open players. If other players are simply not hitting open shots, than obviously it's going to effect the team, whether it be Chris Paul, Deron Williams or Steve Nash.
The fact of the matter is that the guys who once were stars on this team aren't, they hardly can score over 90 points a game, but the critics all put it unfairly on Rondo's shoulders.
